Ministry in Gaithersburg, MD

Service & Worship

The Shabbat services we hold at Or-HaOlam Light of the World Ministry tentatively takes place every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Here, you can come worship with other followers of Yeshua Jesus, and celebrate the glory and teachings of God. We draw our teachings from the entire Bible expressly linking to the Hebraic roots. Our worship center can be found at 8051 Cessna Ave. Suite 164 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Our services include times of prayerful meditation in order to become closer to God. We then move on to a celebration of His glory.
Worship extends from the outer court into the inner court and finally into deep worship in the Holy of Holies. We welcome you to join us and take some time out of your week to get to know God better. Our service does not focus on technical correctness or a strict adherence to time, as the most important aspect of our services is simply having a heartfelt desire to meet with God and to celebrate with other members of the congregation. Dance is often used as a means of celebrating God's glory.
You are welcome to take part in dance practice after the service if you wish to be better prepared for the next Shabbat service. At strategic times, we will share in what is known as the Eucharist, thanksgiving, often referred to as communion. A message from the word of God is also shared with the congregation. Following the service we share a meal together, as the breaking of bread among believers is a core aspect of our faith. Come and visit us anytime you wish.
